Summer FAQs

Drop-Off

Summer camps will have designated drop-off locations based on camp location. Campers enrolled in Tennis, Rock Climbing, and other designated camps may have drop-off at either the Main Campus or SPARC Campus. All locations require check-in with camp staff before campers begin their day.

7:45–8:45 AM | Drop-Off Window
Drop-off is walk-up only at the designated check-in location:

1. Main Campus: Lower School entrance
2. SPARC Campus: Designated camp check-in area

Please do not use curbside drop-off. Summer programming does not have traffic control available, and all campers must be checked in with staff.

After 8:45 AM | Late Drop-Off All late drop-offs must check in at the Lower School Lobby front desk.

Pick-Up

All camp pick-up takes place inside the Lower School Lobby. For the safety of all campers:

• A valid ID is required every time for every adult picking up a camper.
• Camp staff will radio for your camper to be brought to the lobby.
• Families will complete final check-out with a staff member before leaving.
• Please do not walk beyond the Lower School onto campus during pick-up.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and organized arrival and dismissal process!

• All campers must be checked out by an adult. 
• Every adult doing pickup must be on the authorized pick up list in our camp system
• Every adult doing pickup must have a photo I.D. every single time they do a pickup. 

Late drop off and pick up are both in Lower School Lobby

Please ensure all items are labeled with your child’s name.

1. Water bottle
2. Change of clothes 
3. Hat for sun protection
4. Backpack or tote bag that your child can carry independently
5. Extra snacks, if needed due to strong preferences (please note: no nuts allowed)

Personal belongings, electronics, toys, trading cards, gum/candy, and anything with nuts should not be brought to camp. 

• Lunch is provided daily in the OES Dining Hall. You can view the menu here. 
• Balanced and allergy-friendly snacks will be provided. 
• Please remember to have your camper bring a labeled water bottle every day to camp. 

Camps with field trips will be notified by summer admin. 

• If your class has a field trip login to your campbrain account and fill out the additional trip form that has been added to your portal. This is required to attend the trip. 

Camp Behavior & Support Plan

At camp, our priority is to ensure every child has a safe, supportive, and successful summer experience. We use a clear, consistent approach to support campers when behavioral challenges arise. All campers receive proactive support from trained staff within their group. Staff help campers navigate daily routines, build friendships, and understand and follow camp expectations. Occasionally additional support may be needed and camp admin will communicate with families on an individual basis. 

We are committed to working in partnership with families to support each camper’s success. Camp leadership will maintain open and ongoing communication throughout this process.

Requests for withdrawal from camp must be made more than ten days prior to the camp start date to receive a full or partial refund minus the $75 non-refundable bank fees.

Any registration canceled with less than ten days' notice will forfeit the full cost of the camp session.

More than 30 days in advance: camp registration will be refunded minus the $75 non-refundable bank fees. Within 11-30 days in advance: 50% of camp registration will be refunded minus the $75 non-refundable bank fees.

Please allow for 10-15 business days for refunds upon cancellation for processing.

Summer at OES may cancel programs and reach out to families as soon as possible with cancellation information and alternate availability if they are available. Summer at OES will offer alternative options if available and if not will offer full refunds for the program canceled, minus the $75 transaction fees. Refunds can take up to 10-15 business days.

• Camp reservations close the Thursday before the week of camp. If you desire a spot at the last minute, please call us by Friday at 12 PM to see if we have space available. 
• Please do not show up at camp without a reservation as we cannot guarantee an available spot for your child.

You can inquire with the Summer Admin team about changing a camp via email, or in person. 

The weekly fee for camps that do not have any field trips is $585 from 7:45 a.m.-5 p.m. and aftercare for $50 weekly from 5-6 p.m. Camps that include field trips come with an additional fee.

• Families may choose to pay in full at the time of registration or enroll in a payment plan.
• A credit card is required to be kept on file for all registrations.
• All camp fees must be paid in full by the end of the camp season. If payment has not been received, families will be notified prior to any charge being made to the card on file.
• Late fees are not charged.
