News Update - July 28, 2020

On July 28, 2020, Governor Brown released "School Health and Safety Metrics" to guide school opening decisions for fall. OES will continue to monitor this announcement and information applicable to summer camps, and we will reach out with any changes or updates to our summer camp program.

Summer at OES is happening NOW!

Beginning July 20, we hosted camps on our beautiful campus and celebrated a smooth and safe opening. Families had wonderful comments about attending Summer at OES.

"I felt the precautions and procedures to ensure staff and camper safety were fantastic. Thank you for making a wonderful camp experience for my son while still being safe!"

"We loved it, best week we've had as a family since COVID-19 hit, he was happy, we were happy, the whole family has happier every evening!"

"We were very impressed with the new procedures, and did not worry about the health and safety of our children while at camp. It was all well organized and communication was very clear. We appreciate all the extra effort and time that went into making camp safe and fun! The kids truly needed this."

We appreciate your patience while we navigate this summer with COVID-19. The OES administration and our summer team have been collaborating to make decisions that keep families healthy but also address students' social, emotional, and physical needs. Check back here for updates.
