Advisory

After School

The OES Campus is a hub of activity after school. Students in Pre-K to grade 5 may extend the day through a variety of Extension offerings available between 3-6 p.m. Families may use Extension on a drop-in or full-time basis, or sign-up for specific days.

Students in Grades 6-12 are often participating in after school athletics, clubs, and theater. You will also find students meeting with teachers and studying in the library or other common spaces. Students in grades 6-8 are supervised by our Extension faculty at no additional charge to families.

Bus Transportation and Carpool

The OES bus transportation program provides flexible school bus options to 30% of OES students. This fee-based service offers a safe, dependable and cost-effective option for families in the Portland metro area.

OES encourages families to arrange carpools. Current families may utilize the "sort" feature of the all school online directory to easily locate families in their zip code.

Counseling and Academic Support

Chaplaincy

Chaplains in each division provide an additional level of support and care to all members of the OES family. With an emphasis on the nurturing of relationships and community, the Chaplains offer an intentional and pastoral presence in both joyful and challenging school and family moments. In the spirit of our Episcopal tradition, chaplains lead weekly chapels that encourage and honor student and faculty voices.
