Calling all 'Varks! Homecoming is a time for us to come together as a whole community. Come support our Upper School JV and Varsity athletes as we face our friendly rivals.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Parking:
Refer to the map. Parking will be available in the lower lot behind the Athletic Center and on the grass fields. The upper lot will be available once these other spots are full. We will be accommodating both our community and our visitors.
Athletics Schedule:
Turf Field
- 4:15 p.m. Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Catlin Gabel
- 6:15 p.m. Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Catlin Gabel
Morissette Court
- 4:30 p.m. JV Girls Volleyball vs. Banks
- 6 p.m. Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. Banks
At halftime, a few lower school students have signed up to take penalty kicks on Aardy! They could use your support! Cheer loudly and positively for your Varks! Parents, please let your middle school soccer players know they are invited to the field to cheer on our kickers! Please meet Associate Athletic Director Bobby Long and volunteers on the track near the grass field at 4:40 p.m.
Seating:
Turf field: There will be minimal seating in the bleachers, refer to the map which shows what areas of the track will have tables/chairs for eating as well as areas where you can place lawn chairs.
Athletic Center: There will be plenty of seating in the Athletic Center for the volleyball games.
Food Trucks:
We will welcome three food trucks offering a wide range of options including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Tickets for frozen desserts will be available to the first 200 students at the swag table (see map). There is a water bottle filling station in between the snack shack and the bleachers as well as in the Athletic Center. Food trucks will be open and ready to serve by 4 p.m. There will be a lot of options! All Food Trucks are card payment only.
- Bobablastic: Boba Drinks, Hot Dogs, Poke Bowls, Nachos
- Richi's Tacos: Tacos, Burritos, etc.
- Retrolicious: Fried/Grilled Chicken, Chicken Bowls, Chicken Sandwiches
Along with the food trucks that will be on-site, the Snack Shack will be open and selling sodas, water, Gatorade, candy, and frozen desserts. The Spirit Store will be on hand selling OES gear! Meet new parents/guardians, teachers, and students, and reconnect with old friends. We need everyone to come and be LOUD AND PROUD AARDVARKS!
