Upper and Lower Schoolers Team up for Science Activity

Peter Jewett's Upper School Science class just finished another iteration of the SOIL activity. This semester, they again visited Raleigh Park, located a short distance from OES, but instead of one-off lessons with a variety of classes, they met with both fifth grade classes for four sessions each to consider water quality and ecosystem health.

That involved a couple days of field sampling at the Raleigh Park stream, data analysis/graphing, and a poster. The activity culminated with a visit to the OES wetlands.
