The OES Class of 2022 officially became alumni on June 2 at a celebration hosted by the Alumni Office. Faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the seniors with memories, refreshments, and a special gift from the school. After congratulations from Head of School Mo Copeland and Head of Upper School Sarah Grenert-Funk, the students were officially inducted into the Alumni Association.
Director of Alumni Programs Sara Berglund said, “We are excited to welcome the Class of ‘22 into the alumni community, a network of supportive Aardvarks across the world willing to help them. The alumni community is always here to support them, now and in their future journeys.”
Seniors then got to open their time capsules and read letters from the Senior Fall Trip. This event is one of several for seniors leading up to graduation, which will be held on Friday, June 17 at 7 p.m. at PGE Park.
