The fourth grade class was undaunted by chilly winter weather when they ventured to Camp Westwind on the central Oregon coast last week. They hiked, explored tidepools, learned outdoor skills, toasted marshmallows around the campfire, and picked up trash on the beach.
Fourth grade teachers Erin Flaherty, Michelle Meszaros, and Adelaide Wainwright led the students, along with Experiential Education Coordinator Tom Handel and Extension Program Coordinator Austin Shock. Thank you to the all trip chaperones and everyone who helped plan a successful experience.
