Congratulations National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

Five OES seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship program. These students from the class of ’24 received the prestigious honor based on their junior year PSAT scores.

Each year, approximately 16,000 U.S. high school seniors receive the semifinalist honor based on their PSAT scores, and the nationwide pool of semifinalists—representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors—includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. Semifinalists must meet several requirements to advance to the finalist level of competition.

Students will be notified in February if they have been selected as finalists.
