Buddy Reading in the Lower School

First-graders from Ms. May's class and third-graders from Ms. Lee's class recently got the chance to come together and do a buddy reading for the first time. Ms. May and Ms. Lee selected the buddy pairs or trios, and the third-graders took time to carefully choose a book that they wanted to read to their buddy.

Ms. May said, "It was very fun to see the interactions between the classes, and at the end of the story time, the kids enjoyed drawing with chalk together and playing gaga ball. Hopefully, we'll be able to enjoy more time reading together before the end of the school year!"
