April 12, 2019 Exceptional Sophomore Honored with Patty Jeanne Semura Award This year's winner of the Patty Jeanne Semura Award recipient is Shiloh D. '21. The award is given annually to a member of the sophomore class who "possesses the vision, creativity, and potential to make a difference in the world, and who is an active builder of community." Middle Schoolers Shine at Annual OES Track and Field Invitational The annual OES Track and Field Invitational was a huge success for the Middle School Track and Field Team last week. Thirteen schools showed up for friendly competition under a light mist and cloudy skies. Third Graders Travel Back in Time on Overnight Trip Third graders took a trip back in time recently when they traveled to the Mt. Hood National Forest for an overnight stay where they learned about life in the 1800s. Great OES Book Swap Lives Up to Its Name This week, Fariss Hall transformed into the home of the annual Great OES Book Swap (GOBS).
