Nov. 30, 2018 Upper Schoolers Get Their Voices Heard with ECHOES Every year around this time, Upper School students get the chance to flex their creative writing muscles and use this quiet time between the holidays to pen new creations for the ECHOES creative writing contest. Eighth Graders Practice Exploration and Inquiry Through Project X Project X is an exciting inquiry program that emphasizes a growth mindset, process over product, and authentic student-driven learning. Lower Schoolers Learn to Solve Social Dilemmas Together The Lower School Beginning Years (Pre-K, Primary, and Kindergarten) students have been engaged in a shared investigation of social problem-solving. A Meaningful Day with Grandparents and Special Friends Last week we were honored to welcome 350 grandparents and special friends of our OES students to come visit our beautiful campus and get a taste of what the student experience is like. Before the Thanksgiving holiday break, the Boys' Choir treated us to an Evensong concert at the OES Chapel, which is a short end of the day service of meditation, prayer, and song--it's an annual Fall tradition at OES.
