As is reflective of their daily commitment to others, on Wednesday the members of our Lower School community demonstrated their care for fellow Aardvarks and Portland neighbors in need alike.

Middle School Students Make Service Count

Wednesday was Teacher Appreciation Day, giving us a great opportunity to recognize the incredible OES educators (like Madame Perry and Mrs. Johnson Mounsey, pictured here with students) who are the heart of our school.

Thank you, teachers, for all you do!

AWESOME AARDVARKS

Raley S. '18 continues to shine on the national stage! This past week the United States Department of Education named Raley one of only 161 high school seniors in the country a Presidential Scholar.

This honor is given to exceptional young people who have "demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, artistic excellent, leadership, citizenship, service, and contributions to school and community."

ATHLETICS

Last week our Boys' Golf team won Districts by a whopping 99 strokes ahead of the second place team! Will A. and Alden F., both '18, took first and second respectively.

And this week, the Girls' Golf team finished second overall at Districts. Anna L. '20  was a third place medalist. Also of note is that Missy Smith was named Coach of the Year!
