Third Graders Unearth Hidden Stories with Special Guests OES third graders have been studying Oregon's history and "hidden stories" since September—and this week they shared some of those stories with the help of special guests! Diaspora Studies Span Divisions Recently students from all three academic Divisions engaged in projects designed to weave together tales of Black heroes and heroines with a variety of subjects.

Diane and Sandra 2018 Auction Chairs March 2, 2018 Seen on Twitter: Recently Dr. Mohammad Khan Kharoti visited with our sixth graders to talk about the three Green Village Schools he founded—and discussed negotiating with the Taliban to allow girls to attend those schools! From Instagram: Bravo to cellist Ethan T. '22 for attaining the Runner-Up Award at the Metro Youth Symphony (MYS)'s Concerto Competition! As OES parent John Deters noted, "To be in the MYS symphony orchestra in the eighth grade is really an exceptional accomplishment, and now to be recognized as a concerto competition winner is awesome!" Shrek:The Musical has been onstage at OES for two nights, and the hearty thespians still have four performances left!
