Seen on Twitter:

Recently Dr. Mohammad Khan Kharoti visited with our sixth graders to talk about the three Green Village Schools he founded—and discussed negotiating with the Taliban to allow girls to attend those schools!

From Instagram:

Major kudos to our Boys' Varsity Basketball team for making it to the Elite Eight round of the OSAA state tournament before falling to Dayton yesterday evening.

The players and Coach Pratt deserve huge congratulations for their great season!

Bravo to cellist Ethan T. '22 for attaining the Runner-Up Award at  the Metro Youth Symphony (MYS)'s Concerto Competition!

As OES parent John Deters noted, "To be in the MYS symphony orchestra in the eighth grade is really an exceptional accomplishment, and now to be recognized as a concerto competition winner is awesome!"

Shrek:The Musical has been onstage at OES for two nights, and the hearty thespians still have four performances left!

Look for full coverage of this wild, wacky all-school production in next week's issue.

Calling all volunteers! OES needs YOU to help support the second-annual Oregon Girls' Sports Leadership Summit here on campus Saturday, March 10. Contact Associate Athletic Director Missy Smith at for details.
