Next Wednesday through Saturday nights, our Upper School thespians will be presenting Macbeth(s) in the Great Hall. As Visual & Performing Arts educator Peter Buonincontro shared, "Over the past three months, students have interrogated Shakespeare's original script to pull out the hidden story of Lady Macbeth and devise an alternate version. We invite the audience to experience mirrored versions of this dark tale that explore gender, justice, power, and the slippery slope between good and evil." From Facebook: In addition to or instead of celebrating Halloween, some of our community members recognized The Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos). This week the Upper School's Hispanic/Latinx affinity group gave their peers an opportunity to create sugar skulls, which honor departed souls. OREGON EPISCOPAL SCHOOL oes.edu |
