Last weekend, Experiential Education Coordinator Tom Handel drove a full minibus of 14 OES day and boarding students to Manzanita Beach to join hundreds of people to help beautify our Oregon coastline.
First Graders Make Friends with the OES Forest and Wetlands

More than 50 first graders explored the woods, fields, and wetlands of OES in search of critters during their Habitat Hunt this week.
Middle Schoolers Build Community on Class Trips

The middle schoolers had a great week with gorgeous weather and the opportunity to retreat to a beautiful setting off campus with their respective classes to build community.
The Lower School Community Kicks Off Fall in Style

Last Saturday, blue skies and sunshine reigned over 450-plus participants in the first-ever Lower School Fall Festival and Picnic. There was even a pie bake off!

Join us in conversation with author Renée Watson. The OES community is exploring Renée's recently published young adult fiction novel, Piecing Me Together, to examine issues of identity throughout this school year. RSVP here.
Sunday, Oct. 15
All are invited to a celebration of the relationship between OES and the Episcopal Parish of St. John the Baptist. Students from OES will be delivering part of the sermon and singing in the choir!
