Musicians Give Standing Room Only Choir Concert
Last Monday night, the standing-room only Chapel served as the performance venue for 10 different vocal groups representing vocalists from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Upper School Students Unplug in the Great Hall
If you were in the Great Hall this week, you may have noticed something different: students played chess, worked on puzzles, and drank hot chocolate.
Middle School Explores Diversity and Service
On Wednesday, the entire Middle School engaged in a full day exploration of diversity and service. In the morning, 206 students, 33 employees, and 35 parent volunteers connected with 18 organizations in the greater Portland community for various service learning projects.

Third Graders Unearth "Hidden" Stories with Historical Fiction

Inclement weather and field closures can't keep spring sports down at OES. Games and matches start next week.
OES hosted the NW Regional/OR State Sport Stacking Championship on Saturday, March 4. This is the only tournament on the West Coast in 2017 where stackers can qualify for the Junior Olympics.
OES Third grader Maija L. (pictured above) competed along with 52 stackers from Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, and Arizona.
