What do you get when you combine 10 high school students, dense foam sticks, and a bouncy ball that travels at blindingly fast speeds?

You get Coleen Davis' Upper School PE class playing Pillo-Polo.

Pillo-Polo has been a popular physical education and recreational game for over 40 years. Sharing many similarities with floor hockey, the game is played on an indoor surface (usually a basketball court) and involves two teams trying to score on lacrosse-sized nets. Exciting blocked shots, wicked fast swings on the ball, and even some slick stick tapping moves gave the Upper Schoolers plenty to work with as four teams rotated in and out of six quick games.

"The great thing about these activities," shared Davis, "is that you get people who wouldn't normally play together. Pillo-Polo is definitely an equalizer kind of sport." Check out the quick video and see what you think!
