What happens when you combine bright colors, great music, and fast scooters?

The answer is OES's Beginning Years movement program, which went on display in a big way for families and friends of our youngest Aardvarks yesterday morning. With Coach Corris in a top hat acting as the ringmaster under a parachute tent, our Pre-K and kindergarten students (aided significantly by Coach Evans and Coach Stephanie) showcased their movin' and groovin'!

Beginning Years students began their movement program celebration with all four classes dancing to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!". The original choreography came from Coach Jessica, who has been on maternity leave but came back just for the performance!

After their big dance, smaller collections of students came out in front of the crowd and rocked their favorite movement tools. Flower sticks, peacock feathers, basketballs, scooters, yarn balls, jump ropes, and hula hoops were all manipulated with dexterity by students determined to make their families proud.

The end of the festivities brought a great surprise: the young Aardvarks brought their family members onto the floor, and they all performed "Can't Stop the Feeling!" together.
