International Boarding Application Checklist

First Step
- Submit the non-refundable application fee of $100.

Applications may be submitted through the Admissions Portal or through Standard Application Online (SAO).
From Your Family

If you are applying through SAO, submit: Parent/Guardian Statement; Student Essays
- If you are applying through the OES Admissions Portal, submit: Parent/Guardian Questionnaire; Hand-Written Student Questionnaire
- Student Interview
- The Office of Admissions will reach out to you to schedule an interview after your application is received.
- Admissions Tests- Scores must be from tests taken after August 1, 2024.
- Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT): Register at oes.edu/ssat and enter OES school code 5572. Sign up early to secure a test date to meet our deadline.
- OES requires the SSAT or an alternative assessment for applicants to the Upper School. Students who do not have access to the SSAT should reach out to the Admissions Office admit@oes.edu as soon as possible to request an alternative.

Transcripts for 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 must be received directly from the student’s current/previous school(s).

Key Info and Deadlines
- February 4, 2026: Applications Due
- All required parent/guardian documents must be submitted by this date. Student visits and supporting materials (like transcripts and teacher recommendations) may occur or arrive later, but must be scheduled or requested by January 20.
- February 4, 2026: Financial Aid Application Deadline
- March 6, 2026: Enrollment Decisions Emailed
