Testing & Academic Assessments

At Oregon Episcopal School, we know that standardized test scores are just one part of a student’s story. We offer multiple pathways for Upper School (Grades 9–12) applicants to fulfill our academic assessment requirement, allowing your family to choose the option that best suits your student.

Fulfilling the Assessment Requirement

Upper School applicants may submit results from any one of the following options:

• Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT): Paper-based at a public testing center or taken digitally via SSAT at Home. (Learn more or register at SSAT.org)
• Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE): Taken at a testing center or online. (Learn more or register at ERBlearn.org)
• OES On-Campus Assessment (Free): A local, paper-based academic assessment administered directly by OES at no cost to your family. Reach out to the Admissions office at admit@oes.edu to schedule a time. 
• Measure of Academic Progress (MAP): Official MAP test results administered by your student's current school within the past academic year.
• High School Placement Test (HSPT): Official HSPT results from the current academic year.
• Note on MAP and HSPT Submissions: Applicants who choose to submit MAP or HSPT scores will also be asked to complete a brief OES Writing Sample. For information on registering, please reach out to admit@oes.edu.
