Info for College Admission Representatives
Dear College Admission Colleagues,
Oregon Episcopal School will host only virtual visits this fall. We join many Oregon schools in beginning the year with remote learning, not knowing when we might shift to a hybrid model.
If you are scheduling virtual visits, please see the options below. Whether we are in remote or hybrid mode, our schedule will be the same and is more compact than usual, so we are not scheduling visits during class time. We are offering visits on Wednesdays (a non-class day) and including an after-school option on Thursdays as well.
Using RepVisits, we will schedule up to three 40-minute college visits in each slot (shorter is fine if you prefer). We ask that you include a link, using the platform you prefer. If you have logistical and scheduling questions, please contact Betsy Velluto, Assistant to College Counseling: firstname.lastname@example.org.
During a normal visit season, we love our chats with you before or after you see students. Although we may “drop by” some visits, we hope you understand that we may not have the chance to connect with you this year. If we have questions, we will be in touch and trust you will do the same.
We are a small school with approximately 155 juniors and seniors. We hope to accommodate most or all requests for a visit, but with a more limited schedule, we may have to prioritize based on interest and availability. We host visits only for nonprofit campuses.
We realize that some colleges may focus instead on more efficient, inclusive, and creative approaches to virtual visits, which we fully support. If you are taking that path, let us know and we will publicize your event in our Naviance college visit list.
