Oregon Episcopal School - ALWAYS OPEN

“As our students grow, they learn to sing not just their own song, but also the song of family and community. It is a song that echoes through generations, a melody carried forward by wisdom, love, and the example of people like you. You are an essential part of this song.” –Head of School The Rev. Michael Spencer at Friday’s Grandparents and Special Friends Day.

Thank you to the hundreds of grandparents and special friends who attended Grandparents and Special Friends Day 2024. The joyful day began with coffee and breakfast in the Athletic Center, a blessing from Head Chaplain The Rev. Christopher M. Decatur, an opening greeting from Head of School Michael Spencer, followed by musical performances from the Lower School Melodies (Primary-2nd Grade Choir), Harmonies (3rd-5th Grade Choir), the 6th Grade Choir, and the Advanced Strings Ensemble. Then our grandparents and special friends made their way to the Lower School where students shared schoolwork, made art with their guests, read books, played games, and even explored the wetlands on campus.

Thank you to everyone who made this beloved annual event a special one!
