From pre-K through grade 5, our Lower School delivers more than an excellent education. It cultivates intellect, character, and curiosity. Students gain the skills and confidence they need to excel in school, and eventually, in life.

We believe that how a child learns is just as important as what they learn. Our child-centered approach fosters joy and enthusiasm. Through small class sizes, where every child is known and supported, and hands-on projects that challenge students to think critically and creatively, we build confident problem solvers who work together as thoughtful collaborators.

In the classroom and beyond.

Our flexible, inquiry-based curriculum is designed to spark critical and creative thinking. With daily engagement in art, music, Spanish, science, library, technology, and physical education, all taught by dedicated specialists, students are exposed to a wide variety of subject matter that stimulates their developing minds. And that excitement isn’t limited to within our walls. We spend significant time learning outdoors, exploring our campus and wetlands as an extension of the classroom.
