How Clever These Young Mortals Be! Ms. Busick's Fifth Grade class presented A Midsummer Night's Dream this week in the Lower School Library. Three theater lights borrowed from the Upper School made every speck of fairy dust sparkle as the students delivered a version of the play that contained much of Shakespeare's original language but was simple enough for the Lower School audience to understand. The performance was enjoyed by all. See more photos. |

| Goodbye Asphalt, Hello Aardvark Community Park | ||||||
| Students, faculty, and interested parents will gather at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, on the site of the new Aardvark Community Park for a groundbreaking ceremony and party. The event will feature music, a parade, and treats, but the highlight will come when a few students help Aardy the Aardvark remove the first piece of asphalt. The contractor is scheduled to be on site to begin demolition work during the last week of May. Watching the excavation will be exciting for students, and a temporary construction fence will ensure their safety. For further information, contact Jon von Behren, 503-768-3161. | ![]() |
