New Year Begins
With Bells, Hugs
and Handshakes
Head of School Mo Copeland spoke to returning students along with Student Body President Manav Kohli, Board President Steve Grant, and Bishop Michael Hanley at the Opening Day ceremony Wednesday morning. The fifth-graders rang the bell 142 times--once for each year since the school was founded--and then everybody shook hands. Lower and Middle School students then began classes while Upper School students embarked on adventures that included backpacking, trips to the beach, and the College Decisions program. See more photos, or look at photos of the fifth-graders ringing the bell. |
