2010 Summer Reading Recommendations
Research shows that kids who read over the summer retain their reading skill level. And, of course, reading is an incredibly pleasant way to pass the time on a lazy summer day whether at home, on the beach or at a park. Here are a few suggestions of what you might like to bring with you on your summer adventures. For emerging readers some of the titles will be best read aloud by an adult or older child. All titles are available in the LS Library and can also be found at your local public library.
