Student Release During the School Day

Children being picked up in the middle of the school day for a doctor’s appointment or illness will not be allowed to wait unsupervised on the covered walkway. The teacher will send the student to the Lower School Office where the person making the pick-up must come to get the child and sign him or her out. Either the teacher or the Lower School Office staff needs to know in advance of any such change in the regular routine. Identification may be required if a child is being released to someone unfamiliar to us. This is a precaution we need to enforce if we are to provide security.
