Outline of American History - Get a partner to read this with you.  Focus on your colony group.  This site has good information about products and education.

Colonial Kids - A great overview of life in the colonies that was made by kids!

Why the Colonists Came - This may be a little hard to read but there is a lot of good information here.  Work with a partner.

Discovery School Colonial Heritage - this is a good explanation of the beginnings of the colonies.  Choose your colony group and read.

Kid Info Northeast Colonies - Visit this site after you have a basic understanding.  You'll find a lot of information about specifics such as religion, education, and products.  This site is great to help you fill in the blanks on your note organizer.

The Economy of Colonial America - Fantastic Information about how people made money in the colonies and the products they produced.

Animals and Farm Products - a big site about animals and how they helped the colonial economy (money system)

Colonial Currency - even though they were not supposed to be making money, many colonies had their own bills.  Think about including some images in your newspaper.

Religion and Education Schooling and Education in the Colonies - great pictures and information.  It even separates information by colony group.

Colonial Schools - this site was made by students and includes information on discipline and who went to school.

Colonial Kids Education - a section from a great website created by kids. 

Discovery School - detailed information about education and religion in colonial times.

Colonial Religions - this site was made by students.  Be careful that the information is for your site of colonies.  Not everybody had Quakers!

Life and Leisure Photographs of Clothing - this is a catalog site where people can buy clothing that looks like what was worn in the Colonial Times.  Scroll towards the bottom to "Women's 18th c clothing" 

Williamsburg Clothing - a wonderful site with pictures and explanations.  Under women's and men's clothing, click on "Anatomy of _________" for great explanations about the different parts of a person's clothes.

A Visual Dictionary of Colonial Clothing - a very useful site, even if some of the pictures are distorted.

Colonial Amusements - What did people do with their free time? Find out at this site about Noah Webster.
