Serving as a vital resource for the entire school community, the library houses books, reference and research materials, computers, a large selection of online subscription databases, automated circulation and catalog system, and a teacher planning center in a multi-level, childpleasing design. Students throughout the Lower School learn to locate a variety of materials for enjoyment and academic use.

Younger children come to the library to discover various types of literature and to learn to locate, check out, and enjoy books and other materials. Older students enjoy free access to the library and are often involved in resource-based research projects related to class work. Strong emphasis is placed on reading for pleasure and lifelong learning. The library is open before and after school, and during lunch recess. The staff is available for help whenever needed.
