Finance at OES
The Annual Budget is set by the Board of Trustees upon recommendation of the Finance Committee. The Budget for 2009-10 totaled approximately $20.3 million. Spending is focused on areas having the greatest impact on students within the context of OES's mission.
About 82% of our income is generated by tuition and fees. Other operations, income from the School's endowment and the OES Fund for annual giving account for the difference. Other operations include summer camps, after-school classes, the annual auction, the School Store, and the after-school snack bar.
The Associate Head of School and CFO administers the School's financial affairs under the direction of the Head of School, oversight of the School's Finance Committee, and in accordance with policies established by the Board of Trustees.
