Capital Campaign
In the fall of 2001, the school launched a multi-year capital campaign to build new buildings, renovate existing facilities, improve traffic flow and parking, make safety improvements, and increase the endowment.
The first phase of the campaign involved the construction of a new Math, Science and Technology facility, the Drinkward Center, which was completed in the spring of 2003. The second phase involved renovating the Upper School in 2005 and constructing an addition to the Middle School, which was completed in 2007.
Parents raised funds through the auction and other donations to install an artificial turf field in 2006, to construct a loop road and parking lot behind the gym in 2007, and to build a community park in 2008. The 2011 auction raised money for a communication center to enhance global learning.
Generous parents of previous generations of students have given the money to fund the resources the students enjoy today, and today's parents will make sure the school is there for children 10, 20, and 30 years from now. Current students directly benefit from these campus improvements, and the improvements build the school's reputation, which will benefit alumnae/i throughout their lives.
