OES offers a school commuter school bus program with several different types of service, depending on a family’s needs. Both one-way (morning or afternoon only) and round-trip service is available. Students may also purchase occasional single rides to existing bus stops. Families wishing to use the bus service must register with the Transportation Office. Registration packets are mailed to all families in August.

Bus routes can sometimes be arranged to come to a student’s home, but using centrally located group stops results in considerable savings. Scheduling and routing is done just prior to the beginning of each school year. Routes are constructed based on ridership density, and it is possible that not all areas can be served.
