US Echoes Ceremony Honors the Craft of Writing

Today the Lower School students had a buddy gathering. Together, thinking about the questions "What words speak to your mind?" and "What words speak to your heart?", each person in the Lower School created squares with either a word or image connected to the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Wednesday night our girls' basketball players spent the evening working with Play/Fit/Fun on team-building skills. Coach Abraham and his staff had girls from 3rd -12th grades working together, playing games, talking about what makes a great teammate, and building connections that extend across grade levels.

 

Coach Abraham noted, "Our varsity girls were great! They immediately dug in and made sure to involve the younger girls."
