Greetings Parents of Dorm Students,
It’s hard to imagine this school year is almost over. Many culminating events are approaching that will prepare everyone for the end of the year. Please take note of all the exciting events as we know everyone is very busy.
Diana L. has recently been inducted into the Cum Laude Society for her academic excellence. Prefects - We are currently in the process of choosing our prefects for next year. This is a very special honor for our students who are selected. A wide variety of factors are considered when making our decision. We are so proud of all of our dorm students!

Monday, June 2 - Annual Dorm Appreciation Dinner
June 6, 9 and 10 - Finals
Saturday, June 7 - Senior Trip (return June 10) Seniors are expected to participate
Thursday, June 12 - Graduation
Friday, June 13 – Dorms close
Graduation updates: There are several celebratory events coming up as we approach graduation. The Residential Life Program will be hosting a reception for dorm seniors, families, friends and our dorm community on Wednesday, June 11, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the Middle School Commons. We look forward to seeing many of you when you are in town. Please let us know if you have questions about these dates.
Dorm Activities: We continue to offer many social events in the dorms, including dinners out, Taiko Drumming, bowling, movies as well as Cirque de Soliel and The Pendulum Aerial Dance Theatre. In addition to our weekly activities we have our second Retreat of Fun scheduled for Saturday, May 17, and a Sports Night scheduled for Monday, May 19. The dorm students have challenged the dorm parents to a repeat sports extravaganza. Stay tuned for an update.
The summer vacation travel form is here. Please respect the times and dates of school closure. Students are expected to be at graduation on June 12. This all school activity is a great way to pay tribute to our graduating seniors as well as put closure on their academic year. The dorms will close June 13 at 3:00 p.m.
We have seen so much growth and development in your children over the year. They truly are a wonderful group to work with. Congratulations to all the families of seniors. We thank you for trusting us with your children’s care.
