Music Man Volunteers Needed

OES has always had a great tradition of parent volunteers and we can sure use some help with our off campus all-school musical The Music Man. We are so excited about producing this classic American musical at the World Trade Center next November. This is a big project and we need your help in a variety of departments. We need to costume a cast of 87 students from all three divisions, build multiple sets, acquire dozens of props, provide transportation and snacks, sell tickets and ads for the program and the list goes on and on.

Are you handy with a sewing machine or a screw gun? Do you like to shop (be honest) for odds and ends? Do you have a talent for selling ads or tickets? Do you love theater and want to be a part of our first ever all-school musical?  Won’t you please consider becoming a volunteer and help make The Music Man an experience to remember for you and for our young actors, musicians, and technicians.

Thank you and let’s put on a great show together!

Beginning with the start of the 2008-2009 school year, students can expect to rehearse three afternoons or evenings each week.
