OES has been producing thoughtful citizens of the world since its founding as St. Helen's Hall in 1869 by the Rt. Rev. Benjamin Wistar Morris as an Episcopal boarding school for girls. Bishop Dagwell Hall, an Episcopal boys' school, was founded in 1965, and the two merged into the coeducational Oregon Episcopal School in 1972. Today, our alumnae/i are scattered all over the world, engaged in their local and global communities. If you are an alumna or alumnus from any period in the school's history, we hope you will stay in touch with each other and the school.
