Welcome from the OES Admissions Staff!

As a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, OES offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum in a nurturing, caring environment. We are interested in those students who can prosper in a rigorous academic program and, at the same time, participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities. OES is truly an exciting place to grow and learn.

• Our Lower School includes Pre-Kindergarten through grade five in a caring, creative, and stimulating environment.
  
• Our Middle School serves students in grades six through eight with a state-of-the-art program and facilities.
  
• Our Upper School includes both day and boarding students in grades nine through twelve with a full curriculum, research opportunities, and competitive athletics.

Our application deadline for the 2008 school year was February 1st and at this time, we are only accepting new applications to the "waitpool' in selected grades.. We maintain “waitpools” of qualified applicants from which we select new students, should any vacancies occur before the school year begins.  If you would like to submit an application to the waitpool please call the Admissions Office (503-768-3115) to discuss the application process. If you wish to wait and apply for the 2009 school year, please contact our office this coming fall and we will gladly send you an application packet.
