Session I: June 22–July 2 - This session is full.
Under the Sea $390
The ship is loaded and the crew is ready, so it is time to set sail. Fish don’t need snorkels and neither will you as you dive into our deep sea quest! Travel among sharks, jellyfish, dolphins, sea horses, and whales, learning more about what they eat and where they sleep. Create your own beach bag to collect the sea creatures you construct—tissue paper fish, paper bag whales, and octopi hand prints are just a few of the fun projects. The beach is warm so let’s make homemade ice cream and juicy sno-cones to keep us cool. Get ready for sand, sun, and water play as we catch a wave in this fun exploration of marine life.
Session II : July 6–17
Fairy Tales & Folklore $425
Hear Ye, Hear Ye! By royal proclamation, all knights and princesses are requested to appear at the royal court, stepping into the land of make-believe. Meet fairies, talking animals, and pirates who jump to life from the pages of our books. Dress for the occasion by creating your own amazing costume from legendary fairy tales like Robin Hood and Cinderella. Create projects from our stories, using dazzling materials worthy of your fantasies. Use your imagination and see your dreams fulfilled with the wave of your own magic wand! Mix up your own fantasy potions and make a feast fit for royalty, including fairy cakes. Watch out for the elves and goblins that are sure to make mischief on this adventure!
Session III : JULY 20–31
Aaardvark’s Adventures $425
Arthur and DW have lost their new puppy and don’t know where to find him. Join Bear, Goose, and Monkey as they help scour the neighborhood for any sign of the missing pup. Meet new animals along the way, studying their footprints and learning interesting animal facts. Aardvarks have unique noses, so choose your favorite animal and construct your own snout, muzzle, or beak. Lucky for us, Arthur and his friends like to get wet in the summer heat, so we’ll stay cool with water play. All this searching will leave you hungry, so let’s eat the animal cookies you make. Help Arthur and his friends have a fun summer.
Session IV: August 3–14
Marco Polo goes to China $425
Step into our time machine and journey back to the 12th century. Tag along with Marco Polo as he makes his way from Venice to China! Discover Chinese inventions—paper making and kites— and make dragon masks, painted fans, and lanterns. The Great Wall of China can be seen all the way from space. Can you construct your own great wall? Experience dragon dancing, while following the beat of your very own domroo drum. Bring along your appetite as we try out Chinese foods and delicacies, including moon cakes and fortune cookies. Trade your gold for silk and watch out for dragons as we embark on this adventure!
