Discovery Session I
June 28-July 9 (No class July 5)
BLAST OFF!
It's a go as we blast off into outer space for the adventure of a lifetime! Learn about each planet along the way from Saturn's rings to Jupiter's moons. What else do we discover? Black holes and asteroids are just the start. Which planet would float on water and which has the slowest orbital speed? Study the solar system alongside other NASA astronauts as we zoom through the solar system. Construct your own rocket ship that will sail through the air and create your own alien.
Enjoy the starry sky around you as you become an astronaut travelling through space. Act out alien encounters in our drama production. Make amazing paintings of outer space landscapes in art. Outer space has rockin' music and songs to move to in our music & movement class. Can you kick that ball into outer space? Give it a try in our sports program. Science classes will explore what we know about outer space and include hands on experiments to increase knowledge. Come ready to explore life beyond earth.
