Admissions Process

Step 1:  Share Your Interest

Submit an online inquiry form to let us know that you are interested in OES. We will respond to your questions and invite you to upcoming events. You will also receive a password that will allow you to schedule a tour, sign up for a tour, or submit your application.

If you prefer, you may call or email our office (503.768.3115, admissions email). We will connect you with an admissions associate who can guide you through the process.

Step 2:  Visit Our Campus

We believe that experiencing our campus, community and classes in action and having an opportunity to ask questions are the best ways for parents to learn about OES. Our online event scheduler will help you sign up for:

  • Parent tour – tours scheduled during school days to allow you to make valuable observations about our school community, learning environment, and philosophy.
  • Open House
  • Information Night

If you prefer to schedule a tour by phone, please call our office at 503.768.3115. The Open House and Information Night do not require pre-registration.

Students interested in applying to grades 9 through 12 are invited to schedule a student visit to our campus before or after submitting an application. During their visit, students will have a chance to experience the excitement of learning in our small, challenging classes, to join us for lunch in the Dining Hall (our treat!), and to meet students and faculty. We will do our best to customize the day and pair students with someone who shares common interests. Contact Jen Bash, 503.416.9379, to schedule your visit.
Students applying to grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8 will be invited for a visit once their application is received.
